Membership

SRRA is a not-for-profit Corporation supported by public and private sector memberships.

SRRA’s Resource Centre includes a unique data base available to members. Comprised of data from private and public sources -- often secured under exclusive contract – the database is the only comprehensive and cross-sectoral source of detailed information about, infrastructure, planning policy, commercial and residential buildings across the region. Maintained in a platform developed by SRRA, the Resource Centre provides insights into infrastructure and its relation to policy and the region’s-built form that is unavailable elsewhere.

SRRA’s research and policy recommendations are based on the combination of the public policy expertise of SRRA’s Principals, their real estate experience, the knowledge the Resource Centre provides and a regular supplement of best practices in other major cities.

Membership allows our funding partners to participate and benefit from the activities of SRRA in collaborative, informative and beneficial ways. Members enjoy access (subject to licenses) to the Resource Centre’s allowing for informed and beneficial policy outcomes.

There are three types of membership:

Partner,

Associate Organization, and

Individual,

Common Benefits for all Categories of Membership:

Forums

SRRA conducts periodic gatherings of members and guest subject matter experts both informally with individual members and formally in events called Forums. These Forums bring together Members, Associates, guests, and experts in many related fields to discuss on-going and new research, regional and national trends, business development, and topics related to infrastructure and land use.

Forums are by invitation only and undertaken using a “Chatham House Rule” approach that leads to candid, provocative and open exchanges and sharing of ideas. Suggestions for new Forums come from all our members.

All types of membership allow for full participation in Forums without additional charge.

Summaries of past Forums are available on the website.

Activities and Reports

All members are enrolled in the email distribution of research publications, periodic white papers and receive advance notification of new research initiatives.

Occasionally SRRA produces specific reports with “The Occupancy Index” being the most prominent example. All members have access to these reports.

Partner Member benefits:

Partners have access to SRRA’s resource Centre subject to license agreements and Quarterly Briefings tailored to the Partner’s specific interests and requests.
